Yes.......we are still alive and kicking!!! I have a lot of pictures to catch up on and I thought I'd start with last spring when Paul and I took Brendon and Breanne to the Temple for the first time. They were both really excited and could hardly wait. We all did baptisms. What a day to remember!!! They are truly growing up too fast. I feel very blessed to have such wonderful children. We ended the day with a stop at Wendys, and then finished the rest of our 2 1/2 hour drive home from Nauvoo. It's far away, but well worth the trip. Since this trip they have done baptisms with the youth in the summer, and we are currently planning to go again before the weather turns for the worse.

Summer Showers Outside

I was just looking back through all of our little video clips that were saved from the fire on our computer, and I found this one. It was from 2 years ago and it was just pouring cats and dogs out. The rain gutters were clogged with leaves and pine needles so it was overflowing off the roof. The kids had to get out of the pool because we heard thunder, but when they saw all the water coming down off the roof...there was no stopping them. The rain comming down was fairly warm, and they had a blast playing in it. I don't ever think that they'll forget this, and I won't either. What a fun day. It's really wierd to see clips of the old house before the fire. Kind of like a distant memory. Before you watch the video clip, you'll have to go to the bottom of the page and pause the music that automatically comes on. Everyone Beware!!!

Can you believe it? Hunter safety classes! Everyone better watch out! Paul took Brendon & Breanne to the classes over a three day period. The final test had 50 questions. They could only miss 5 if you wanted to pass. Brendon missed 2 on the first try, and Breanne had to do a little re-do because she missed 7, so they re-asked her the ones she missed to see if she really knew the right answer, and she ended up only missing 1 after that. They now have their own shot guns and everything. They keep pestering Paul because they want to know when they're all going hunting!

They got to shoot the clay pigeons. Breanne shot two out of six, because she said they forgot to tell her to close one eye when shooting. Brendon got off six shots, but unfortunately they didn't meet together with the clay pigeons due to the same factor of they forgot to tell them to close one eye. They threw up three for Paul, and he was successful on two.

Dress Up, Girlfriends, and Ducks!

Katelynn just had to get ready all by herself this last week with a stylin hat that doesn't quite fit anymore, one slipper, and her cowgirl boot. She was playing mommy, taking good care of her baby ELMO. She is really good at entertaining herself which I just love when I need to get things done. Although I do have a blast pretending and playing with her myself. She's a blast, and makes me laugh every day.

Tyson...Tyson...Tyson!!! He goes to

pre-school, and has a girlfriend there. I don't know if Callie knows she's his girlfriend, but that hasn't stopped Tyson from claiming her for himself. He always asks us to write his and her name on the doodle board and it has to have hearts and flowers next to it. Man, I think we're in trouble with this one! I guess Tyson had a discussion with his best friend Dillon down the road because Callie used to be Dillons girlfriend until Tyson decided that wasn't right. Last I heard, Dillon has another girl in mind that he's happy with. I love to listen and hear what the little ones talk about...it's hilarious!!!

Tyson, Katelynn, and Logan are enjoying watching the ducks that walk through our property. Without a deck under their feet, we had to caution them to be a little careful. We all can't wait for summer and warmer weather to get here. :)

Roller Skating Anyone???

About a month before Grandma & Grandpa came to visit, Brendon & Breanne went to a joint Young Men/Young Women's Stake activity. They all went roller skating. Brendon won a contest, so they gave him a free skating pass for his family and school class. So after Grandma & Grandpa Coleman came, we went skating with everyone. Since we didn't have room for Brendon's whole class, we let Brendon and Breanne invite one friend each, (Dallas and Alia). We lost count of how many times the kids crashed to the ground. Sometimes it was painful to watch! But overall, they all caught on really fast, and everyone had a blast. Grandma Coleman wasn't going to skate at first, but then got brave and joined in. Grandpa Coleman chose to stay on the side and take pictures...a very wise decision indeed :) We're thankful for all the pictures to document the fun and craziness. At one point, Grandma and I had to take Tyson and Katelynn to the bathroom with all of us still on skates. Oh my gosh...was that scary. Trying to balance your child at the toilet with trying to keep your balance all on a tile floor. I was just thankful we could do it without crashing...I would've really hurt myself! I don't think Paul fell once, and it was only his second time roller skating! He is a very fast learner. I love seeing the kids smile and have such a good time. They have all decided that we need to go again!

They're Growing Up Fast!

Since I started this yesterday, I've found myself trying to think of things to put on here. So I decided to post pictures. Brendon turned 12 and received the priesthood in January. We are so proud of him, he is now a deacon. Katelynn loves to play mommy, and has learned she can blow bubbles with her spit. They are all getting so big. Paul and I enjoy laughing with them and treasure each of their personalities.
